Giving Opportunities

Good Grief is 100% privately funded – meaning we do not receive any state funding. All funds raised help to safeguard the future of excellence in our programs and services, and improve the quality of life for all members of our greater community. While we will work tirelessly to ensure that every child has access to our programs, we could not do it without your help.

Good Grief offers a variety of giving opportunities at various levels.

Annual Giving

Annual Giving is at the heart of Good Grief and the most valued forms of financial support a donor can provide. Our operating cost this year will be $1.8M and these unrestricted annual gifts allow Good Grief to continue to provide our free programs and services. While your gift may vary, your annual support provides a sustainable foundation, allowing us to continue to fulfill our mission.

Monthly Giving: Superhero Society

Be a Superhero to hundreds of kids throughout the Good Grief community by giving monthly and helping daily! Because our families have constant needs year-round, we created the Superhero Monthly Giving Program. Your monthly gifts help provide consistent and unwavering support each year while creating an easy way to make a significant impact that works for your budget and schedule.

Leadership Giving: Circle of Hope

Good Grief’s Circle of Hope includes annual leadership gifts of $2,500 or more for three years. In recognition of their enthusiastic support, members receive dedicated communications and invitations to special events.

Capital Giving: Building a sustainable future

Capital gifts are defined by their enduring nature. Thus, a capital gift may range from significant support of a strategic Good Grief priority to support of a building or renovation project, from an endowed fund or aid to sustained support of a special program. As a rapidly growing organization, Good Grief’s community engagements and organizational needs are ongoing.
