A
Tour of Good Grief is an introduction to our programs and facilities. We will
show you where we conduct our support groups and other services while giving
you information about both what it is like to be a participant and what being a
group facilitator means. We also share stories of the families we serve and
provide more information on ways to volunteer and get involved at Good Grief.
Tours are one hour long, and offer a quick but thorough update on the work we
are doing for grieving children in New Jersey.
"One of the concepts guests
take away with them is the possibility that the children can learn lessons of
compassion, empathy, reaching out, etc., that will favorably impact their lives
forever. Merely raising the subject of
grief and informing people about Good Grief can shift their consciousness about
grief and loss...these tours are transformative." - Fran Travisano, Secretary of
the Board of Trustees
